[Following is the "warm-n-fuzzy" message. To be brief and to-the-point, just read the boldface copy]
On Saturday, April 1st, we will meet at 9:00 am at 72nd Street and Riverside Drive in Manhattan. This is a beginnerís ride of approximately 17 miles via Riverside Drive and the George Washington Bridge to Hoboken, New Jersey. We will return to the World Financial Center via ferry. Please be sure your bike is in good working order, and please bring two spare tubes, a frame pump, water, snacks, and money for you AND your bike to take the Hoboken Ferry back to lower Manhattan. Also, please note that helmets are required on ALL AIDS Ride events. In the event of rain, this ride will be cancelled. Keep in mind that this early in the season the weather is chilly and unpredictable. Please dress appropriately.. Although we do our best to complete training rides in a reasonable amount of time, we canít guarantee what time this ride will be completed.
