Attention
: This is not a test -this is the REAL THING!
- This is a job - a volunteer job, yes, but a job
nonetheless.
- There
is no such thing as ëplayingí at being a training ride leader.
- Not
knowing how to change a tire is not amusing.
- Depending on the kindness of others is not appropriate ó you
are the other!
- Your
riders will look up to you and expect you to know what to do to help
them. Within reason so do we. (Admittedly, some riders are a pain and
expect way too much of us, but some of YOU were like that so be
kind)
- You
must be prepared to LEAD ó so you must prepare.
- Remember, the leader is the sweep is the leader. You each need to
be prepared!
- We
strongly suggest that you attend at least one of the Train the Trainers
rides.
- Remember: the leader is the sweep is the leader and you
never know what will happen.
